Wedding Photography at the Upper House, Barlaston

Alan and Sarah married on a marvellous sunny afternoon in August. Sarah was resplendent in an ivory dress, whilst Alan looked extremely distinguished in his Morning Suit. Four beautiful bridesmaids, a flower girl and a page boy completed the occasion.

Sarah had us all worried by arriving half an hour late for the service. The vicar - who had another ceremony to perform shortly afterwards - was observed at the back of the church sitting with his head in hands, possibly in prayer.

After that, though, the day went off without a hitch. The sun stayed out until early evening, when a few rain showers threatened to spoil things. However, they soon dried up and left a balmy evening for a delicious Hog Roast outside on the patio.

The Upper House at Barlaston is a lovely location, with its own landscaped gardens, and some very fine interior features which we made the best of.

Wishing every happiness to Alan and Sarah.

Wedding Photography at Santos Higham Farm Hotel

Julie and Gary are a great couple from Wirksworth. They set out to have a wonderful day - and it was impossible not to have a wonderful day along with them.

Julie looked radiant in a stunning ivory dress was a gorgeous ivory creation with a single shoulder strap and flowing train. She was met at the altar by a youthful-looking Gary resplendent in grey morning suit.

Although the sky was overcast, the weather held up for us, and the sun even broke through just as the happy couple arrived at Santos Higham Farm Hotel.

There were splendid and only slightly misty views of the Amber Valley for all the guests.

The evening party was one of the best we've been to for some time, and Santos did everyone proud with a splendid hot buffet. Many thanks to Gary for leading the dancing!

We wish Gary and Julie all the best for the future.
