Winter Wedding Photography at Burton Town Hall

Victoria & Andrew married at the church which would be Burton Cathedral were we to be a city - the Church of St Chad's in Horninglow. It was a dull and miserable day, and had just stopped raining when I arrived at Vicky's house, but this did not stop us getting outside for a few photos by staying on the road and the footpath. Vicky was particularly keen not to get her fabulous shoes dirty before the wedding!

St Chad's church was beautifully decorated with candles and candelabrae for an atmospheric ceremony, and then afterwards Vicky had her desire fulfilled for some snow-confetti.

Then, it was off to a secret location for some twilight photos against the sunset.

Afterwards, back again to Burton Town Hall for the reception, which was marvellously decked out with a white snow and ice theme, for the happy couple to dance the night away.

Touch FM Wedding Fayre at the Brewery Centre Burton on Trent

Well, here we are into 2012, with quite a few weddings and wedding fayres already under our belt! I guess it's time to start blogging again, so I'll kick off with the Touch FM wedding fayre at the Brewery Centre on Sunday 25th March.

It was an early start on a lovely sunny day, and we were in the Marquee outside. The Brewery Museum had elected to try and disguise the fact that there was any wedding fayre at all by posting neither banners outside, nor - at first - any signs to the fayre inside. However, thanks to a an extensive radio advertising campaign by Touch FM we had lots of potential brides through the door and a busy day was had by everyone.

The Derby Wedding Professionals Network was much in evidence, with at least three of the exhibitors, including ourselves, being members.
