Wedding at St Mary's Church, Stretton

Adam and Michelle married at the ever-popular St Mary's Church in Stretton, and once again we were favoured with wonderful weather and a wonderful couple.

The village hall might not look like much from the outside, but it can be truly beautiful inside when it has been decorated through for a wedding.

There were games galore for the kids and adults alike, and it was such a lovely evening that almost everyone came out to participate.

Wishing every happiness in the future to Adam and Michelle.

Wedding at Newton House Barns, Newton Solney

Leanne and John chose the picturesque and popular Newton House Barns venue for their wedding, since they had a hankering for an outdoor ceremony. Fortunately, the weather was obligingly good, and a great day was had by all.

Very surprisingly in this day and age, this is the first time we have ever encountered a female Groomsman! I suspect that tradition leads Grooms to pick all-male parties, rather than that Grooms don't have favourite female friends. Certainly, it made a pleasant change from normal.

The outdoor ceremony gazebo on the edge of the lake is beautifully situated from the point of the couple and the guests, but not quite so handy for photographs. I got severely nettled getting some decent close-ups!

The meal was a little different. Each table had its own Roast Joint, and a nominated Chef to carve it!

Either Leanne doesn't know her own strength, or the icing was tougher than it looked. The cake knife snapped neatly at the handle as they attacked the bottom layer.

Wishing all the best to Leanne and John.
